Minutes Running High

Warning! If you make these 4 Calling Birds, your minutes might fly up.

Pattern for calling birds is the same as our partridge pattern (only difference is the colors of the yarn used) now available on Etsy.

Here's how to make the phone:

Use Acrylic Black Medium Weight Worsted Yarn
F Hook (3.75 mm)
Yarn Needle

Make Two:
Round1: Magic Circle 4 SC (4)
Round2: In Back Loops, 2HDC in each st (8)
Rounds3-4: In Back Loops, HDC in each st (8)
For one of the pieces, fasten off and leave about a foot of yarn to represent the cord.  Fasten off, and tuck the ends into the cylinder for the head piece.

Row 1: Foundation DC 8 (8)
Row 2: CH 3(counts as 1 DC), DC across (8)
Fasten off, and leave enough yarn to whip-stitch the two rows together.

Whip-stitch the two rows of the handle together. Sew each end of the handle in each cylinder. Weave all ends in (except the cord).

I love comments. Next to smiles, they're my favorite.
